León Dormido

(also known as Kicker Rock) is a one-hour trip where both divers (PADI License required) and snorkelers are welcomed. An ideal place for all ages, snorkeling for kids and adults, and diving for the more adventurous. You even have the option to take the open water course and get certified. The depth of the León Dormido channel is 14 to 18 meters with a width of more than 40 meters. ​Here you can see different kinds of sharks, fish, sea lions, turtles, and more. There are also many birds like blue-footed boobies, nazca boobies and frigates, subject to  conditions. Sometimes referred to as Kicker Rock, the great diversity of marine life makes León Dormido a popular site for both locals and guests from around the world.
